An Internal Quality Assurance cell (IQAC) in a mandatory system suggested by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the National Assessment and accreditation Council (NAAC) for higher education institutions in India. Its main job in to plan, guide and monitor measures to improve academic and administrative quality.
